Default Anyone in Hawaii in here?

I'm flying in tomorrow (9/11) until Thursday evening staying in Honolulu.

I have a few business meetings throughout the week then mostly free time.

Is there anything that's just a "must do" for visitors?

Also my travel partner likes to eat at neighborhood restaurants and non chain establishments. I would love some suggestions for some hole in the wall eateries.

tks.

What kind of food are you looking for? Something fancy or kinda casual? Before food do some hiking...or after. Great easy hike, Diamond Head.

Sushi: Yanagi Sushi
Plate Lunch: Rainbow Drive-In
Pho: Hale Vietnam
Sandwich: Sprout
Burger: Honolulu Burger Co.
All U can eat cook your own: Sikdorak (like 20.00 per person)

You can look them up on Yelp or google for info...have fun!!!

I second Yanagi Sushi. Great place. 12th street Grill in Kaimuki is really good for dinner as well. Sprouts has great sandwiches. Verde in Kaimuki is a good spot for burritos.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pretty much all casual is what I'm looking for. Somewhere we could even do an early dinner and work on laptops at the same time.

My travel partner just booked us a luau for tomorrow night activities.

If it's not too late you have to get to Leonard's Bakery in Honolulu (or Pearl City) for Malasadas. Nice pictures by the way.
