Ok, officially left the waiting room a few days ago and took delivery of my Jet Black metalic Carrera S with a ton of extras.

Too much shiny alloy in the standard car for me and extended leather package took care of that by covering most of it in black leather.

Talking about leather, one of the gripes with my old 997 gen 2 was the black leather which wasn't actually black. More mid grey than black.

The leather in the new car is quite close to black so very happy they've moved on here.

Currently having it detailed to protect from the English winter. Lee is using Gtechniq Crystal Serum which is a ceramic composite technology. There will also be a with a couple of coats of Carnauba wax to finish off. Total of 3-4 solid days work to get the car 'clean' protected and finished, inside-out including wheels and calibers!

That looks great! It's really too bad Porsche screwed up and put the steering wheel on the wrong side, though. Hopefully they correct that for you!
