Introduction: my first 911
Hi,
I live in the SF Bay Area and previously owned a 2001 Boxster S. I have perused Rennlist on and off for years, often browsing the classifieds.
I'm thrilled to have recently acquired my first 911: a 2014 991 S.
I happened to come across a CPO car configured nearly exactly as I'd order new, with a full leather red interior I've rarely seen in the used market. I couldn't resist!
Forgive the dealer beauty shots, I'll post real world pics when I have more to share.

As a big fan of Garnet Red I gotta say, well done! In fact, I'd have been happy to find a low-mileage used 911 -- I'm not proud -- but finding one with red hides was such a long shot I didn't even look... I think you got the only one!
I'm more of a black steering wheel kinda guy, but on the secondary market I'd have been happy to find an all-red model. And with the grey (Agate? Sorry, I don't keep up with the current greys all that well) it looks stunning.

Carrera Red
I thought I'd prefer a black dash and steering wheel, but after driving this, full red is the way to go (for me).

I'm also active in the Bay Area and online motorcycle community, and recognize a couple of usernames that are also cross-pollinating!

For some reason they changed the name of Carrera Red to Garnet Red. I thought it was in 2014, but must have been 2015. Mine's a 15. The red's are identical from all I can tell and have read. And now they call it Bordeaux, but I think it's still the same (not certain about that, though; I've not seen a car with Bordeaux in the flesh.)
