Just a quick introduction from a new member in Tucson, AZ. Longtime Porsche owner and lurker in the forums. I just moved to Southern AZ from the Pacific Northwest last January and am loving the endless sunshine.
I just purchased a new (to me) 2013 991.1 C4S Cab in Sapphire Blue. My previous Porsche stable in order of ownership:
Guards Red 997.1 C2S
Lime Gold 981 Cayman
Midnight Blue 958 Cayenne
Midnight Blue 996 Carrera Cab
Welcome, to both the forum and Tucson. I lived here through the 1980's and happen to be visiting this week (helping my son move in to start grad school at UA--go Cats!--and visiting my daughter). You will discover some great driving roads around SE AZ. For a start, try highway 83 south from I-10 to Sonoita, where the elevations are about 2500-3000 ft higher, and temps are 10-15 degrees cooler. You might even enjoy running with the top down, at least in the morning.
