Default Feature coding?

Im new. I did not see much on this topic. But does Porsche have feature coding?

In my BMW's I could get my keyfob to roll windows up or down, I could program my blinker to do 5x flashes instead of 3. I could remove navi nag screen, etc.

Im in orange county, ca. Where or what can buy to activate or change hidden features?

Thank you!

You're gonna have to trade your car in on another BMW or a Lexus if you want those features.

Bummer. I found this and was excited until I saw feature coding support stopped at 996/997. I might check with them tomorrow to see if they have made any progress on the 991 side or even plan too.

You have to pay dearly.... But there some. My ace roles windows down with key Fob.

You can also adjust seat heating temp but that's all I know of.

Yep, missed the flexibility we had with the BMW. I was trying to roll my 991 window up and was cursing the remote until i realized later.

Thank you. I wish they had a number to call. You cant reach support unless you have a serial number. Thats just stupid.

I found there blog and was able to post a reply. I asked if it worked on NON-convertibles, specifically the 2017 991.2 911 S.

I will update there response.

How about programing like not having the A/C and radio power up when key is first turned on. I would like to turn them turn on when I want them to. Now I have to power up with the key and then power down the A/C and radio prior to engine start. Its an aircraft thing, all system powered up after engines are started.

Turning off the A/C is my biggest pet peeve about my 991.1. I'm sure the 991.2 owners hate to manually turn off the Auto Stop/Start function every time.

On mine, the climate settings can be saved to memory (1, 2 and/or Key). I like starting the car without the load of the A/C.

The radio is a frustrating one. When I remember, I hit the source button and select AUX (I don't have anything connected to it) before shutting the engine off. If I don't, the radio comes on the next time; even if I was listening to music via Bluetooth when I shut it off.

I can confirm to you that the only feature available on Smarttop aside from convertible or targa top and windows is to turn the audio volume down to zero upon restart. It doesn't actually turn it off, but silent until you turn the volume ****. No controls for anything else. No idea if this would work on a coupe, but seems like a lot of money just to turn your audio volume down.

I simply want Windows up/down with keyfob. I enjoy rolling them down as I walk up. And I enjoy rolling them up as I walk away. It makes entering it more comfortable and locking up a little faster.
