Paint Correction and Coating: New car paint correction and CQuartz Finest Reserve on entire car
Comments: When I picked the car up, I was floored by the quality of the job - the car was as close to perfect as I've seen. The PPF install was virtually seamless with all of the edges wrapped and the CQuartz Finest Reserve topped it off with a beautiful gloss. It truly exceeded my expectations. In addition, Dirk (the owner) kept me up to date during the job with emails and pictures so that I felt part of the process. I recommend Dirk @ Darien Detail without reservation for any detailing job.
Recommendation: Highly recommended, great attention to detail, priced reasonably.

Comments: More reasonable pricing that many prices I've seen quoted here. SunTek Ultra is hydrophobic and self-healing.
Jason is the owner and has a lot of pride in his team and their work. René at the installation site does most installation with helping hands from others as needed and is meticulous and will gladly discuss the details of your particular install with you. He says the rear bumper on the 991.2 and GT3 are the toughest part of the install. While I was there I got to see a new Aston Martin DB11, a Lotus, and a GT3 come and go, so clearly these guys are trusted with premium cars.
While I had the hood, doors, and gas cap fully edge wrapped I didn't want to have the front bumper removed so he couldn't wrap the edges there. On a 991.2 the headlights cannot be removed with removing the bumper. Nonetheless the film was installed right up the edges on the headlights and bumper panel edges as well as it could be without removal. In the few places where cuts are required (e.g. the intricate shapes on the front bumper and one spot on the rear bumper) the lines and perfectly straight and butt together exactly. I cannot find any trace of any so-called stretch marks. Very pleased. The car almost looks like liquid was poured on it.
^^^ Unfortunately not all Xpel certified installers are equally good. I believe the focus of the thread is to separate the worthy installers from the everybody else that maybe be on the list.

Comments: Ivan's detailing is meticulous. As to wrapping he used to be next to Umbra in Schaumburg who did the wraps. Now, with the move to new larger location he and his crew do the wrapping themselves. On my car, comparing to prior RS that was done by Umbra, Ivan's work is better than Umbra and flawless. No stretch marks anywhere, even mirrors, wrapping to under edges on doors and hoods, so no gaps anywhere. Amazing skill in one-piece coverage on 3RS bumper (front) without using templates. And, he wrapped the top from A pillar, roof and C pillar down arch to rocker under door and all the way back to rear signals all with ONE PIECE - it's seamless! I'm in awe.
