Default Finally a Porsche owner

Hey guys, some of you might have seen a couple of my threads on various 911 cars I'd been looking at the past 6 months. First of all, thank you to everyone who's replied and given advice, y'all have been super helpful and really helped me pin down the options I wanted in a car.

So last, last Friday, I got in touch with a guy in LA selling his CPO C2. Common story, guy bought the car, travels a lot for work, and never had time to drive it. He'd literally driven it 5000 miles in the 10-11 months owning the car. I asked for pictures and it just looked gorgeous with all the ticks on the options I'd been looking for. He mentioned another guy, local to LA (I live in Virginia), was interested in the car so I decided to fly out immediately and get to California by Sunday morning. Looong story short, after having to deal with his bank lien for 4 days, I finally started driving out of California on Friday the 15th. 5 days and 2700 miles later, I got back to VA last night with this beauty. I'm completely exhausted but man, looking at her in the garage makes it well worth it. Enough with the story, here are some pictures!

Looks awesome, congrats!

Is that an agate grey interior? Someone on another thread was asking what it looked like.

It's a black interior but I found this thread that might help!

Looks like a really nice car!
Always amazes me when people searching for a car as plentiful as the 991 end up choosing one on the opposite coast. Then again, I can relate as years ago when the bug hit me to own a 911 I found the lowest mileage and price 996TT in CA also (unfortunately I discovered after purchasing the reason for the lower price was a rear bumper repaint for unknown reasons).
Do you live in a stainless steel house ?

Congrats. Acquiring a 911 should have no boundaries. Great job chasing the dream.

Nice custom front end paint protection! Sweet.

Our cars are JUST low-volume enough that it's hard to find exactly the right one at any given time. They're no BMW are they?
That house was the seller's house in Bev Hills. Ridiculous looking place, it was probably $2 - $3 million easily!

I gotta say, my favorite state to drive through was without a doubt, Colorado. I'd personally never been before but it is an absolutely beautiful place with tons of people being active outside and great mountain views while on smooth, twisty roads. My least favorite was definitely Kansas haha.

Haha thanks bud, that taping job took some serious time and sweat equity in 109 degrees under the Arizona sun. I didn't regret it one bit though once I got back and saw the pristine paint underneath

By the way, PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: During my car search, I bought the unlimited CarFax reports for 60 days package so if anyone else is looking for a car and needs a CarFax through the end of August, feel free to PM me!

Congrats! Love the painters tape, have done that several times myself.
Makes for conversation when stopping for gas.

The exterior of the sellers home is so very nice, but in the first pic you see the condition of the inside of his garage. It's like a metaphor for the body and soul of someone from LA.

Congrats! Can't go wrong with a 911, especially in silver

What exhaust is that? Is sport exhaust option same on a base 991 as 991S. Beautiful car, I am torn between a base or a S. Just having hard time getting over the tiny brakes on a base.
