I have them, too. Work great, whether one window or both open, all the way up to track speeds. The AWE set are lower profile and if they work as well, I'd get those instead next time I got the Blackmills because I didn't want to take apart the door and it was a lot easier to stick them on. The Blackmills have more of a racer look. The AWEs more subtle.

Again, thanks to orig poster. I didn't know I had a choice. Just waiting for trim piece tool to pop off the inside trim to see if the screw is there. Mine is a 7/13 build date, '14 model.

I tried the AWE in carbon fiber last year, but one of the posts for a screw wasn't molded correctly and it crumbled. I had, of course, already installed the other one and though it required the door card removal it wasn't difficult at all. In fact you don't have to completely detach the door card to install the AWE so it took maybe 20 minutes per door. I then bought the Blackmill--installation was a snap and they worked great--even up to 140 mph on the track. Just bought the plastic AWE deflector for my 991.2, my first impression was, "Boy are these cheap looking". Then I removed one of the OEM triangles and realized the AWE was on par with the Porsche part. After installing one side I noticed a little gap at the top of the AWE, went around and looked at the OEM installation--same gap. Simple installation, a couple minutes per deflector. I tried a single window at about 65 mph and it worked fine. I'll have to try higher speeds later.

I just installed mine and I also noticed a Gap at the top of the triangle. It doesn't look perfect a bit disappointed I will attach a picture asap.

You don't need a trim tool to remove that little piece of trim to get to the screw behind it Gently squeeze it with your thumb and index finger, jiggle it a little and it comes loose. Put the AWE foiler on the driver side in about two minutes, five maybe for the passenger side because I dropped the screw twice. Works great and only a Porsche person would notice it, if they were looking for it.

Test results
So I had my first DE weekend since installing the Blackmill deflectors. They were awesome all the way past 140MPH. All of the buffet is gone.
Also I can now enjoy my windows down at much lower legal highway speeds or just cruisin' down the country roads at a leisurely pace.
As a side plus, when driving in the rain at any speed, the deflectors keep the rain water coming off the windshield from getting onto the side glass (freeway tested), and that also means nothing inside the car. For those quick to jump and ask why I would drive in the rain with my windows down, it is the rule at a DE - both side windows fully down, all the time.
Lots of folks looked at them and said they looked cool and wanted to know how to get them. I told them, first you start with a 991...

I have the AWE ones. I think the two screw setup with tiny little elbow and two small screws that you can easily over tighten and destroy should just somehow become one peice.
They work. But I would not say OMG, they are the best! I would say they work, but you can still hear/feel some of that annoying wind.
I think I might actually get the blackmill ones. They dont look cheap to me at all. Hell, my first thought when I opened the AWE box and saw I had to attach two screws and line up some connection arm, was... why didnt they just make this tape on.
I would prefer OEM style like the AWE. But I wish they would have added more curve like the blackmill ones.
