Just had Ceramic Pro applied...
Finally got around to a full professional detail of my 2014 4S cabriolet. After almost two years with this car I had reached the following conclusions:
1. I should have purchased one sooner.
2. My next 911 will not be black.
After getting it detailed and having Ceramic Pro applied, I might be changing my mind about #2. It looks amazing, better than when I took delivery. I am very curious to see how it 'ages'. I was told to be careful with it for the next two weeks, as the application takes time to fully cure.
FWIW, if anyone reading this is in Western New York, I couldn't find a shop in Buffalo (I live in Orchard Park) that I was comfortable with or even knew about the different semi-permanent coatings, so I ended up taking it Perfection Auto Detailing in Rochester, NY.
Pictures attached.

Great pics. You are going to love the nano coating. Wait till you wash it the first time. Dirt, bugs, everthing just flys off of it. Heck, soap & water barley has a chance to stick to the car.
Black is very challenging to maintain as the slightest swirl marks are quite noticeable in sunny conditions. Your results are amazing though. Black with tan is my favorite combo. I just couldn't bring myself to choose black paint for the maintenance.
Keep us posted on the curing and long term durability. .

@Fasttr: I will definitely provide updates on how it works over time.
@Canefan: Actually, it wasn't in great shape when I purchased it, it was a CPO car that was only a few months old, but there were a few deep scratches, a lot of "swirls", and a silver dollar sized splotch on the bumper that looked like bird droppings had etched the paint. The folks at Perfection Auto Detailing (they were awesome) were able to take care of about 95% of the problems prior to the application during the correction stage. There were one or two problems that would have required sanding, but they (and I) didn't want to go that far. I would say go for it! BTW - I love mahogany metallic, but was afraid it could sometimes look a little purple?
@TAL2GK: Love that show. Wish I could act like him sometimes, but I'm still trying to participate in society, somewhat. Go Sabres!!
@kwikit356: Yes, wheels and barrels were done.
@NA430GTS: I had come to the same conclusion as you regarding black. This coating might change my mind, fingers crossed.

Thanks! It's actually a two tone Luxor Biege / Black interior. I had my doubts when I purchased it -- got it from a distance without the benefit of being able to sit in it first -- but I've really grown to love it.
