I know they haven't been out long, but curious. A friend got to do some event overseas with Porsche last month and was able to run a C2S on track and came away impressed. If anyone here has had the opportunity to yet, I would love to hear what you think. I am in the middle of deciding on my specs, and plan to order a C4S very soon. I do plan on tracking it a few times a year, hence my question.

Yes, Milwaukee Mile Road Course, twice, Blackhawk, and two days at Road America.
The acceleration, top speed and grunt out of the corners is altogether on a different level than my 981B, both have PDK.
Braking is enormous and I'm still learning the braking points for RA.
The car is probably too fast for the average DE driver, me included.
If you intend to Track do not get ACC, any cone bump will cost you dearly!
All the crap you read is just BS once you get the C4S on the Track and with ACC and LCA assist, it's a great highway cruiser. The 20" P Zero;s give you a little more road noise.
I'm going to have a little cover made for the ACC sensor for Track.-Richard

Yes. I checked oil temp before and after the track. I was in sport + most of the time which I assume keeps oil temp on the 991.2 engines lower than normal mode like the 991.1. I still got oil temp up to 226 degrees. No change in water temp (just like 991.1)
As a comparison, I've had my 981BS engine oil temp up to 246 degrees hammering up and down mountain passes (Stelvio) so I wasn't concerned about oil temp of 226 degrees on a 991.2S. I think it handled the track pretty well in that regard.
Porsche has been making Turbos for a long time. I know these engines run hotter, but their engineers know how to keep them cool too.
