Are these are options from Porsche, or do you mean doing this via aftermarket/yourself?
Sill says Carrera 4S

Aftermarket for red shenanigans on the calipers.

The calipers are the dead give away. You could get PCCB's. To keep them guessing.

Besides those two items, are there any other visual differences between the two models on the outside?

What about inside? Any C4 to C4S differerences?
You can get the S look quad tips on a C4 by selecting the "sport tail pipe exhaust" under "performance."
On the inside, you wont be able to escape the "C4" reputation because it appears on the nav screen in big bold letters. I think. However, you might be able to find a sharp tuner who could change that to C4S. Then, find someone to change the sill and paint the calipers. Voila! Your hang'in with the big guys!

It's a Porsche option. So are the bigger rear wheels that come standard on the S (another visual give away but more subtle) - Talking 991.2 here.

I was just actually thinking about this...is that digital NAV display standard on a C4S, or only if you spec NAV as an option?

I see you said 991.2, I think from what others have said, and what Google is telling me on a 991.1 the red calipers are not an option on the non S.

But, who knows lol...

They never were. I only said you could paint them.

On the 991.2, the rear wheels are bigger on the S.

For the price of PCCB's you could upgrade to the S.

Open engine cover. S says 3.8. Non-S say 3.4. How do you spell "poser". Lol.

Buy the base c2 or c4 and enjoy it for what it is. Yes the brakes on the S are bigger, but does that mean the brakes on the c2 and c4 suck? Absolutely NOT! I wanted a c4 but there aren't any allocations. I was basically forced in to a c4s.

Not sure why some of you think I want to make a non S look like an S. I would never do that. I actually ran into a seller tring to pass off a non S as an S...hence my questions.

Thanks to those of you who helped.

According to your screen name you need an Sss for personal satisfaction. Pony up the extra cash. Not really worth it but it's a personal vendetta to overcome.
