Cool! Someone correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is the roll bars won't work on cars with PDCC but the DSC module should be good on all cars? For reference, my car has SPASM and PDCC.

Interested depending on the answers above.

you are correct! - although DSC is compatible you might find that its function may obviate the PDCC function since the typical DSC map dynamically adjusts
the compress/rebound of the 'inner' and 'outer' shocks in a corner, which is
essentially what PDCC does ...

The link worked for me.
The bars definitely won't work with PDCC. Check with TPC on the DSC module for your car, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

it will, DSC (PASM) and PDCC are two independent systems controlled by different controllers on the car.

Having said that the systems, and in particular the DSC, will independently attempt to adjust for the same effect, that is to reduce body roll while cornering!

The PDCC does this hydraulically (re)coupling the ARBs/Sway bars so that
they transfer lateral forces across the chassis to oppose the compression
of the suspension on the 'outside' (which normal bars do all the time, the
difference being with PDCC is that when you aren't cornering the bars are
hydraulically disconnected)

DSC will also do this by dynamically adjusting the compression rates of
the outside and inside shocks ...

so its a bit redundant ... but the end result will be the same.

I'd actually be interested to see a lap comparison of a car w/DSC and no PDCC, vs a car with PDCC but no DSC (just OEM PASM) ... my intuition
is that DSC pretty much eliminates the advantage that PDCC has over
non PDCC cars in reducing roll in corners

Thanks Larry. You're the reason I purchased the DSC module in the first place. I guess I should call Tom and see if will work on my .2 C4S.

My guess is it will although you may need a modified map!

Once again, Larry beats me to it.

The honest answer...we don't yet know. We ordered a .2 C2S, but we are still waiting on delivery.

I guess if you could find the Porsche PET p/n for the OEM 991.2 PASM controller and it is the same as the 991.1 part then its highly likely that the component is the same and electrically compatible?

Just for my interest. Is the DSC module useful just for the track or worth anyway

assuming you are looking for value of DSC during regular driving? ....I noticed a difference right off the bat. The more you push the car the tighter the suspension gets. Easy instal great product and great... no.....phenomenal customer support.

Can't remember, do you have SPASM and/or PDCC? What's the biggest change would you say with the DSC?

I have PASM on the GTS. The DSC module has tightened up the suspension very noticeably. I'd be happy to have you take the GTS for a spin to get a sense. Let me know.
