Wheel locks for your factory wheels?

I hate wheel locks... First thing I do is take them off and replace them with regular lug bolts.
There not going to slow down any thief more than a few seconds, but are a big pita when doing your own wheel or brake work.
But yes, every modern Porsche I've owned has come with wheel locks without ever showing up on an option sheet.

CLs though are their own wheel locks. What thief would carry the tools needed to remove them. And if they did, who would they pawn/sell them to? Even the most unintelligent thief understands the basics of supply and demand!

The supplied security lug bolts (4) that come standard with the 991.2 are splined. The Owners' Manual makes references to them and shows the Security Socket, as Posted in the Tool Kit.
There is also a wheel set of 16 socket cap lug bolts, 4 Security Bolts with a Security cap socket shown as TechEquipment Part number: 000 044 602 30.
Has anyone ever made use of this set?
I need to torque my wheels before DE events and I wanted an extra socket to keep with my torque wrench is how I got into finding this other type of wheel bolt.-Richard
