New ceramic pro, what do you think?
Hi guys, newbie here but I've been lurking for a while. Recently just got my 1st Pcar and of course I have to show it off! I just had the ceramic pro gold done on it and I tested it in the rain the other day. I was really impressed with the way the water just flew off it. I didn't even need to use the wipers. Hoping that this lasts a good long time.

Thanks. What an incredible car, I can't believe I've waited so long. When I bought the car I thought it was perfect. Then I started looking on this forum. So far I've done the exhaust, wheel spacers, and the ceramic pro. I'm sure this is only the beginning 😀

It's a multi layer paint application that offers some protection from road debrus and offers a hydrophobic effect that makes cleaning much much easier. It also brings out the color of the vehicle once paint correction is done. There's a few you tube videos that offer a better explanation. For me it's all about the cleaning. Supposedly nothing stickers to the car, i.e. Brake dust, tar etc.

OK, so I'm clueless about the combo - seen it mentioned - of a film like XPel and Ceramic Pro. So, does one treat all the paint w/ ceramic coating first - all over - then film over the areas at greatest risk of chipping?
Or does one only finish the paintwork that is not already covered in a film?

1) Full paint correction
2) Apply Film
3) Nano coat op top of film and remaining painted areas
