Default Browser hijack solution?

This site keeps loading the Uber app page on Apple store. It's a fairly constant redirect. Any way to prevent this?

Yeah. I get all kind of garbage redirects too on the browser. Really irritating.

Just mostly stay on the garage talk app.

Every time I sign in I'm locked on to a thread I replayed to months ago.

Clearing the computers short term memory seems to rectify this but for a short time then it locks onto another thread.

Obviously off topic, but try running malwarebytes on your machine and then do a free online virus scan using eset online scanner

It's my cell phone. On the iPhone the 911 sub often prompts the Uber App Store page to load.

No, I don't want your app dammit

This is how rennlist (Internet Brands) makes 95% of its revenue. Ads. Just like anyone else. It doesn't care if you're a 'member.'

Hmm, never happens to me. I don't use the tapatalk or other fancy iPhone versions of sites, though. Just the regular full-size version. I search once for "Rennlist 991" on google. After a few times of searching and choosing that it just put an icon with a big "9" for that and I touch it any time I want to come on here. Never redirects. Ditto two other forums I frequent. They have icons as well that the iPhone just established for me. Like magic.

I just use the Rennlist Forums app free from the iPhone Apps Store and as long as I am signed in, I never have any ads or re-directs.

I kept getting something downloading a fake flash player update when I loaded the forums.

I did antivirus, anti-malware, and anti-spyware scans and cleaned up everything and I'm not getting it anymore.

Nope, didn't miss it and didn't miss yours. I think purchasing a membership may help -- it cut out a lot unwanted site nuisance for me. Worth a try and inexpensive.

I've been having the same problem, the company that owns the forum
allowed fraudulent advertisers that inject malicious code in the ads.
