I've actually had them on for 4K miles now (I drive a lot!) and have noticed no change in color or shine. Still look as they did the day I put them on. Just clean them with Cerama Bryte (ceramic stove top cleaner--get it at Lowe's or Home Depot) each time I detail the car, in my case that's about once a week.
