No problem. If you run into any issues, PM me. I can do a quick video taking it off.

hate to dig this up but where do you insert flathead to release the clip? i can see a metal retaining tab that looks like it needs to be depressed in the hole (see arrow) but it’s not budging- may try a nail or something. thanks!

Looks more like a dremel tool was used.

I used 91% alcohol on paper towel that I left on for about 10 minutes - label came right off.

Did you do this on leather visors with success?

I have, and followed it up with a little Goo-Gone and leather protectant at the end. I have used vinyl covers in the past but that was always so obvious.

I have a 991.1 and one side of the plastic hinge on the lid that opens to reveal the mirror broke. Can the lid be replaced or do I need a new sun visor?

Just happened on my 991.1, too. From what I have found on these forums the only fix is to jimmy-rig a repair with the broken plastic pieces or to buy a whole new visor for $300.

Thanks, I ended up getting a pair of new visors without the airbag decals.

Edit: Found it... here, but still not working. Giving up in the fear of stripping the wires.
