Default GTS black grill w/ ducktail

Hello;

I know there was a post about this some time ago but I couldn't find the post anymore.

I will have my dealer installing the ducktail while retaining the black grill next week. Question is what to do w/ the third brake light? Paint it black to match?

Thanks!

Remove it and replace it with a filler piece.

Don't think Porsche sells one slat separately. You would need to purchase the entire grill ($ approx. $ 1600 retail) and harvest one slat $$$. The bottom slat of MY15 GTS grill had broken and was replaced free of charge under warranty. I asked if I could keep the grill to hang in my shop and was told they ship 99% of parts back to Porsche. I followed up a few weeks later and the broken grill was indeed shipped back to Porsche. Maybe someone with a 3D printer could make one or prime and paint the 3rd brake light black. T

I've noticed the the slots near the light are opened larger than the others because the intake sits directly below it. I wouldn't block them with standard slots.
I would consider spray tinting the lens and leaving it as is.
