GTS, not a GT3

True, if you like the color, but there is a 5k PTS cost in the the price already adding another 15K is a bit much

Doesn't matter. About 1% of all 911 variants. His car will sell for a premium. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next month. Maybe next year. He's in no hurry. He'll get his price.

I've never seen a 991 street Carrera sell for over MSRP. PTS or not. Have 1000's of cars as comps I've seen.

Have seen quite a few at resale at slightly over say a black one. Anyway ... Maybe in 20yrs?

But of those 1,000s how many were PTS? In 20 years, for sure.

There was just a Green one at Porsche of San Diego I posted in Hot for Sale within last 4 months or so. Was one of the PTS Greens. Went for like $90K. I think miles 10K or less .. C2S. Maybe someone can find it?

Was a PTS Blue base Carrera not long ago. Took forever to sell. Nearly new. Like $10-15K under with barely any miles.

Trust me, PTS frenzy in non GT cars isn't what you think.

Rear wiper
No Alcantara
No SPASM

Not good for a perfect GTS specimen.

Ok, manual and no sunroof though.

Still, not an over MSRP proposition. Add SPASM, drop the wiper, add Alcantara
and ducktail, then we're talking.

The next buyer will decide the $$$

Default Riviera Blue GTS

OK. I understand the push back on the price. But would there be any issue if it were a GT3 or an RS? There are many more RS's than we know, even PTS. This car is one of one. It will remain so. And yes I paid a premium for the car.

Some years ago I paid a hefty premium for a '98 C2S in Riviera Blue. I used the car as a daily driver for 3 years. Driving that car was one of the most enjoyable parts of my day. It also received more attention than my 959 did. And I think we all know that I could get back more if I were to sell the car than if it was a standard color. I have refused stupid amounts of money for the car that have nothing to do with the value of a '98 C2S. Rarity and color are part of the experience.

I have been a good Porsche customer since 1980. I have owned 50 Porsches.' My current daily driver is an almost identical build MT GTS in Mint Green. The GTS is the highest performance manual gearbox 911 available (or not available anymore) with the exception of a 911R. And yes I paid a premium for that car as well. Sometimes recognizing the value of an automobile, or anything else for that matter, cannot be so easily determined as an RS is "automatically" over MSRP.

This is a very special car. Not just twenty years from now but right now.

I'm getting this car with 2k miles on it (never registered, it was a show model, the kind they keep in the malls) CPOd for 6 years 100k miles for 113500 after negotiation.

Couple questions:
Theres no sensors or backup camera, I saw online you can buy the camera and intergration kit for $1500, anyone link me to a thread where it was done?
What upgrades can I do to this car?
I'm coming from a long line of BMW M cars, I'm trading an m6 gran coupe. What should I expect?
Hows the overall deal I'm getting?
I added the Nav-TV backup camera to my 2013 911S and it works great (no parking sensors, just video).

If you like the car go for it.

The GTS is an amazing car and you will not be sorry.

I also bought a demo car that had been used (and probably abused). It had 12k mile and 2 year warranty. I have in the meantime put another 6k miles always with a huge smile. No issues ...

These are cars that are made to be pushed and with PDK they are very difficult to damage.

You have a new set of tires and six year CPO so I do not understand the concern.

I will never understand people who choose to pay above MSRP for a vehicle in any condition.

The only exception where it might make sense is the hyper car class i.e. 918, and no an RS or GT3 does not qualify as a hyper or super car IMO regardless of color.

Some people...more money than patience or brains ...

And regarding the OP - looks like a nice build but agree with STG on this one, probably been the town ____ and I wouldn't trust it.

It does not upshift in manual mode, just hits the rev limiter. It does prevent over rev on down shifts however.

At 16% discount and CPO I think is a fair deal. I would push for 20% discount from MSRP.
As far as the mods I would do the Rennline mesh grill. That's all. That car is as perfect as they come.

I have also came from the M family and it took me a while to get use to the linear delivery of power as oppose of the instant power of the M4. There is no comparison with any M car the GTS will walk all over the M4 and M6 on the track.
