Default Should I buy these wheels for my GTS?

Is this a great price or just a good price?

Looks like there's 1 more set as of 4:25p CST. Very good price and they're forged.

OP: They should look ok and will be about 15mm more aggressive than stock front and rear. Assuming you have center lock, which I think you do.

I find silver GT3 wheels boring but they look great in black and red. Either way for that price I would be looking at just going aftermarket wheels.

Funny you should mention that. I was considering having them done in Carmine Red to match the accents on my vents and rear diffuser.

GT3 RS has a 21x12.5" rear and takes a 325/30 tire. GTS stock uses 305/30 rear tire. The former has a 26.68" overall diameter, vs your stock 27.2" diameter.

Assuming the tire fits, that diameter change will result in your speedo showing ~5% slower than actual speed.

I don't know Porsche's well enough to comment on what else this may impact.

If that's OK with you, and assuming the wheel will fit in the first place, do it! I love the look of the GT3 RS wheels. I'd have them powder-coated black or platinum myself; they look a bit too blingy to me in silver, but that's a matter of personal preference.

That would be the ****. You post any pics of your diffuser? I've seen the vents.

The GT3 RS's wheels are 1" wider front AND rear, using the same tires. So it's a wash as far as tire diameter goes. However, the offset is 15mm more aggressive front AND rear on the GTS. The rear will look flush, but the front might stick out a bit.

GTS: 8.5Jx20 ET49 / 11.5Jx20 ET56 - 245/35R20 91ZR / 305/30R20 103ZR
GT3 RS: 9.5Jx20 ET50 / 12.5Jx21 ET48 - 265/35R20 99ZR / 325/30R21 108ZR

I wouldn't be the first on Rennlist to put these wheels on a GTS.

I've seen the thread with GT3 wheels on GTS -- haven't seen GT3 RS.

Ahhh....Great point. This is exactly why I need everyone's advice. So far we have a possible speedometer issue and a wider stance (which I would personally love).
