Where does 991 get chipped up the most ?
I know Suntek paint protection has been chatted about quick ask, were does the car chip the most ?
Local person using Suntek will do bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, wing mirrors, rockers and splash guard (in front of rear wheels at the bottom) for 1500 total.
- do I need to do the rear quarter panel complete ? Will it chip in the back of the rear wheel ?
- do I need to do the front fenders behind the front wheels at the bottom ?
- just do partial front fenders and hood or whole ?
Any help would be grateful, of were you get the most chipping and debris, so I know were the value add is and not .
Thank you

I have front and partial hood and I wish I'd have got the full hood and fenders done. I have 2 small chips on my hood, up past the point of the clear bra, and another one on one of the fenders near the gas cap.
I have not noticed anything on the rear at all, and I have 38k miles on it.

Almost 20k miles on the 50th and 90% of chips were on the FBC and the other 10% were on the front of the rear fenders (Note: WB & already covered) That said I had the FBC wrapped on the GTS. T

I have Xpel almost full wrap, and it has little divots all around the fenders, rockers, rear bumper underside, and a few on the front leading lip edge of the splitter. Those big tires throw stuff up all over. I did full doors in case anyone hits or opens their door into me. Won't prevent a dent, but you won't get scratched..

I would recommend full front (including hood and fenders in their entirety), mirrors, rocker panels, rear fenders both in front of and behind rear wheels.
Took delivery of my Jet Black Metallic 2016 GTS the weekend before Xmas 2015, and proceeded to drive it from NJ to my home in SC. On the 2nd afternoon of the trip, I diverted from Interstate to some more entertaining roads. After dark & 20mi from my stopover destination, I reach, at considerable speed, a section of road literally covered in an inch or more of gravel. Grip level goes instantly to 0 and it takes perhaps 500 yards of gentle countersteering and smooth braking to reach crawling speed. As I later learn, covering an entire mountain in gravel is considered a winter safety measure in WV
On the 3rd afternoon somewhere in VA I am on the Interstate behind an Audi. An Audi, it turns out, whose texting driver could not be bothered to avoid what appeared to be, as it slid up the hood and over the roof of my 911, a large filthy sheet of plastic that had been partially buried underground for several years.
By the time we made it home, my car looked as though it had done a rally stage. After a wash, I found evidence of the damage to be widespread and significant...or would've been had I not done Xpel prior to taking delivery of the car. The film shows evidence of gravel impacts, especially in the "hip area", but nothing made it through to the paint. There was a nasty scrape the length of the hood from the plastic sheet, which wiped completely off with just a bit of polish.
My post wasn't intended to be a "PPF testimonial". Just sharing real world experience that made me thankful I wasn't too conservative with the PPF.
Enjoy your car in good health!

WOW - all of you thank you
Will do the full front of the car 100% and wing mirrors, Zarthas, sorry to hear your situation.
I gather the front of the rear and behind are worth doing ?

@JW - thank you for heads up, local installer uses same material for headlights, chatting to his 4 previous customers they have had no issues, I understand issue of fuzzy lights as well. It all comes down to install really. As many have stated here, there lights look like rubbish after a year or so.
