Default 991.1 C2 Buyback - 3,000 "trouble free" miles?

Does anyone know this car?

It had a troubled first year, but reportedly has been "trouble-free" for the last year. There may be a deal to be had here, but I'm loathe to buy someone else's problems, especially since the car may end up being essentially un-sellable.

Leap of faith or walk/run away?

TIA for any input.

Don't walk, skip, or jog. RUN! Plenty of cars choose from.

What's telling is the service record that says again, 'computer module replaced...' after that car was bought back and resold at auction. So looks like the problem that existed before the lemon buy back may still be there in some form.

I'd rather buy a salvage car that I know was wrecked and rebuilt than one that had some sort of gremlin running around inside it that they couldn't fix.

You'd have to be out of your mind.

Don't think this was Nick's famous one... I test drove precisely that 991 S (blue with the grey belts) in Offleaseonly Oppa Locka last year in July...

I found out why it was so cheap before I was tempted to make a mistake...

As many times as the Engine/powertrain computer/module was checked you would think it would come with a free PIWIS diagnostics machine

LOL I saw that car online when I was looking for my 991. Impressive amount of options but thought it looked familiar after seeing his YouTube videos. I wonder who is the poor bastard that bought it.

Thanks for the dose of sanity. 911 test drives can make you do silly things. Also, the local dealers thank you, as I'm set on a CPO car after investigating some lemon/wrecked 991s. My financial advisor, well, let's just leave her out of this.

Nick's car ended up in...where else but sunny South Florida.
