Default This car bridges all demographic gaps - even non car people.

My mother in law is in town and I took her out to lunch for her birthday while my wife is at work. She's 65 and could not care less about cars. Never has she asked for a ride or taken interest. Today, I drove her in the 911 and she insisted on pictures that she was texting to all her friends haha. She even loved it when I openned the exhaust valve(mine is one of the loudest aftermarket) and drive in sport plus. She loves the burble and even asked that I let her hear it in a parking garage!

On the way home there was a shelby cobra (newish) and she told me to race it. I did not... however I did drop a gear and wind it up a little. The mustang also had a aftermarket exhaust and she commented that I should see about making mine as loud. I told her my wife would leave me and roles her eyes when I drive in beast mode.

The car helped me bond with the mother in law in a way we had not done before.

Porsche can always use new Initiates, why not your mum in law. You can tell her to look at newer Boxsters and Caymans. And also a used Panamera with a V8 wouldn't hurt either.

For sure it has something to do with the wheels- you've got the best kind after all.

My mother (age 73) can't believe there are no "oh ****" handles in the car to hold on to and the door handle really doesn't cut it so I normally have to drive her SUV to go anywhere when visiting.

Hahah, that's younger than I thought. Saw a couple in their 80s (well, they look like they're in their 80's) over the weekend, passed me in their Yellow C4S. Exhaust sounded great as he downshifted. I want to be like them when I grow up.
