Fabspeed Exhaust for 991.2

@Jnosol - yeah agree with your statement, just something close would be great though as I am sure something will come about. Having a Ls3 Na and the sound is incredible as well as previous exp with Porsches
408 to the rear wheels ? How without a tune ? 385 best I have seen stock.

Lots of exhaust companies out there. Not many are American made and Porsche focus like Fabspeed. They make high quality stuff.
What I will tell you is the 991.2 will NEVER sound as good as GTS/GT3. I had an F80 M3 (3.0 TT), there's no exhaust in the world that would make it sound as good as the previous M3 with the N/A V8. Same story with these.
But having an exhaust would be a huge improvement over stock (in terms of sound), even with stock OEM exhaust. Hope to see Fabspeed's Dyno results.

Baseline was 377 to the wheels.
408 to four wheels, I have the dyno graph to show it.
With New headers and high flow cats.

There is the dyno graph... 408.11 HP. It's a dyno jet so the numbers might be a bit high, but the important thing is the percentage difference which is a 8.22% increase.

It's not far off at all. The 991.1 with Fabspeed Valvetronic makes 23whp mid-range and 10whp at peak RPM. Turbo cars (991.2) are way more responsive to exhaust mods, so 31whp isn't crazy talk. The OEM 991 exhaust is very restrictive, compact space, lots of bends, and must meet noise/emission standards.

Yeah, what Fabspeed replaced is just one part long part. The cylinder head through the catalytic converter. They looked at OEM parts and saw how restrictive these pieces were and found ways to improve it. With PSE, the muffler is straight pretty much through when open so there was no need to make any changes here. This means that the 31HP gains can be achieved with just one part! For the 991.1 this piece costs $3k. So I think this is a really cost effective solution.

Thanks for the info - I initially assumed this was only a cat back system downstream of the turbos.

John,
That sounds fantastic. What does it sound like with just the catback?
I just placed an order on a 991.2 C2S and the sound is my only complaint so I'm planning to address that--but I'm not interested in the headers. Would love to hear the catback alone.

We focused on greatly improving the header design and increasing flow with the Sport Cats and Catbypass Pipes. Can I ask why you wouldn't consider upgrading your headers?
