The downside to ethanol is long term storage in carburetors. Here, a full tank and max dose of Sta-Bil are essential. Otherwise your snowblower/mower/boat etc will NOT fare well.

There isn't any long term problem with using it a car designed for it, so no benefit to seeking out 'pure' gas. Full tank + Sta-Bil for winter storage = no problems.

I used to use Petrocan 93 with 10% ethanol. Now I use shell Nitro with no ethanol. I can not detect any difference in drivability and avoid ethanol.

Then why do you avoid ethanol and pay more for non-ethanol gas?

I like to run a full non-diluted 18 gallons of sea foam through every other tank just to be sure...

You should be getting slightly improved gas mileage, but difficult to notice in Toronto traffic.

I'd gladly pay the premium too, but 93 octane ethanol free has been non existent where I drive for several years.

In my market, you cannot find above 91 -- I'm at 4,500 ft., not sure if that's why higher octane is not offered.

Yeah. I rarely see 93 when in Colorado for business trips. I put 85 octane in the Avis rental.

STABIL
SEFOAM
LUCAS UPER CYLINDER.

These 3 I have personal experience of them actualy working.

Seafoam is a great strong cleaner. Same with lucas but not as strong.

Stabil is a great protection from ethonal.

Always run stabil.

I would waist my money on buying anything else.

Techron doesn't work. And I have seen great results form BG products.

If anything. I would only stick with stabil every fill up. And use seafoam to clean out every once in a while.
