Fluel additive
I have searched this forum for the topic so PLEASE DO NOT INSULT OR DENEGRATE ME WITH A RESPONSE AS IS THE WONT OF THIS FORUM. I have a question. Please do not answer it if you have no other kind approach.
I am asking about fuel supplements. If you use them, what do you use, how often do you use it, how much do you use at every introduction, what behaviors do you expect, and what behaviors do you get?
I anticipate using an additive that guards against the ethanol in gasoline that is disruptive to our engines.
I would like to know of others who take the same or similar approach.
Please be kind with your answer.

I use STA-BIL for winter storage. They say you can use it with every fill up. Whatever the recommended amount they state.
Right now, I just use it for extended storage and not daily use. I suppose using it every few months in a tank full couldn't hurt.
Many will say not needed. Plan to keep the car for a long time? Why not use it once in a while.

Freeman, don't use any. It's not required. Our modern systems can handle 10% ethanol.
I use Chevron Fuel System Cleaner with Techron prior to every oil change.
I use StaBil for winter hibernation.
Buy the highest octane (91 or 93) you can find at a busy name brand station. Rinse & repeat often.

Agreed, a brand-name fuel; and does **** me off that we can't get the kinds of octane (98-100) that I could get in GER.

Why the Techron prior to oil change and not after? Does it possibly contaminate the oil? Thanks in advance!

OP didn't ask about winter storage, Sta-Bil is a very wise choice for that. Routine use of additives? Unnecessary.
