Default Hello 27.5 mpg!

Just got back from a 600 mile round trip. Coming home (300miles) 991 did 27.5 mpg @ 70 - 85 mph
Se how she got to 110mph. Somethings wrong with the tach.....

Even with the funny tach, I'm lovin this girl.

My 970 4s does the same thing. Upper 20's mpg. With a funny tach. Must run in the family...

Nice, yep I've noticed with the NA motors, I tend to get better gas mileage than EPA because the highway test is too slow for them to reach optimum efficiency.

Turbo engines, not so much...

I'm not sure CA's central valley has a "winter gas" since it doesn't have a "winter".

I know a UK gallon is bigger than a US one, but still reckon this was a pretty special result on a drive back from the Midlands last night. Didn't even have the coasting enabled!

Wow. After a 500 mile road trip with a heavy right foot, my consumption showed 21 MPG. In contrast, my old C63 averaged between 13 and 14. Amazing what efficient engineering and low weight will do.

I'm noticing much better Mileage than my old F80 M3.

I'm getting 21 mpg going to work in the C4S vs 17-18 mpg in the M3 (mostly city driving and some highway). On freeways, I'm getting ~30 mpg in the seattle area going 405 north and south from Seatac - Bothell. In the M3 max I could pull was ~24-25 mpg.

So yeah, surprising how efficient even the 991.1 can be.

Under heavy load, both the M3 and C4S get lower numbers. ~9-10 mpg for the M3, ~12 mpg for the C4S.

On track, both are single digit and pretty close to 4-6 mpg.

I was trying to get good mpg with keeping a high speed. It's how you work the throttle.

I do enjoy the car more when it's under 20mpg. I'm happier that way haha.

36 mpg

1200 mi road trip when I bought it: first half, speed control set on 80, I was shocked to see 33+. Second half, slightly slower, got 35+.

With rounding, that's 36 mpg. My 350 hp sports car gets 36 mpg.
