Default Hello 991 world

Hey guys. Just got myself a 2013 991 4S 25,000 miles.
I started off with a bang. I did an oil change right away Mobil 0w-40 and mahle filter.
Thinking about changing the air filters. And doing a break flush.
I'm lovin this girl.

Do you have any advice for a new 991 owner?

Congrats!

Engine air filter not due till 40,000 miles. Skip it.

Cabin filters (2) are due at 40,000 miles. The one under the glove box is probably fine. The one in the frunk is probably filthy. Change at least that one.

Brake fluid- yes, do it, unless you know for sure it was done in 2015. If done in 2015 it's not due till next year. Brake fluid flush every 2 years.

We here in the forum believe what we see. Not what we read.

We're going to need to see the car with today's paper.

You should cut some 991 Turbo vents into the rear wheel hips. Everyone is doing it.

This girl has a full body wrap. The dealer who sold it didn't even notice it until they were washing it after the sale. Sweet little gift.

I'm still trying to figure out how to care for the wrap.

You gotta wax it like every month or two, or it will turn yellow.

Looks great! The silver is my second favorite color after blue.

Dewi - you're so full of it it's coming out your ears. Of course if the post was extreme sarcasm then, well, okay but if this is a legit question then why the sarcastic response?

OP - do you have any way to determine what brand the PPF? Knowing that you can search for the info you need.

What are you talking about? My XPEL Ultimate instructions said it must be waxed every month. I've seen people with yellowed films and they said they didn't wax theirs.

Edit: Ok it says every 3 months. Close enough. http://www.xpel.com/postinstallation/care-instructions/
