I need a manual with a sports car so that puts a lot of cars out of the running.
I was thinking the previous gen R8 V10 with the gated shifter or maybe a Corvette or the Jaguar F-type. Aside from other 911 variants (like the awesome R) or Cayman, what are other good sports cars with manuals? I don't care much for BMW anymore so I don't think any of their cars would be in the running

Aston just announced that you could order their V12 Vantage S with a manual, which I assume will propagate to their other models.
I think the Viper comes with manual, that to me would be a great weekend/track day car, but I wouldn't want to drive a Viper every day.

458 it feels special , not as fast as the other 2 570S or Huracan , but have spirit that is unique.
audi R8 is interesting but the v10 plus will depreciate quickly if bought new. The previous generation , the v8 held value because it was cheaper MSRP, but the v10 depreciated much faster and you could buy them new for 20% discount

I am going to drive the new R8 in 2 weeks, let's see. I am also going to look at the 458 and see how it compares.
I almost want to stay away from forced induction but those McLarens are awesome looking and performing.

If you have the ability to trade out your 2016 GTS, you are not worried about depreciation. Buy the car you can afford that makes you happy. Why worry about what someone else would buy or recommend because what might make them happy, might not be your cup of tea? For me, I would not trade my 2016 GTS for any of the cars you mentioned because none are available in a manual. A car is such a personal choice. Someone did mention that the Aston Martin Vanquish with the V12 will be available in a manual. The DB10 is also available in a manual. If I had the means, I might trade my GTS for either car. They are both absolutely beautiful. Then again, so is my GTS in GT Silver with Aero package.

The 570s really does look amazing. It would be my choice.
However, I really need the 2 seats at the back, so back to the TT for me.
I've heard the Huracan's visibility is not the best.
