You had to realize it was time for him to move on and get the chance to experience playing in a different org. He totally deserved the chance. I dont for 1 second buy the whole Bill vs Tom rift thing. If you were married for 20 years and suddenly had the chance to get a new wife and 50 million what would you say

Kind of a crappy analogy in my opinion... What would your own wife say to that offer? Or I guess gievn that was your example, you would probably say "good riddance old bag".

Agreed. I'm not buying any kind of rift. Tom wanted a multi-year contract, and Bill, being Bill, wasn't going to give a 42 year old QB a contract for multiple years. Add into the mix, a good payday, better state tax situation, and a different team environment, I don't blame him at all. I don't blame either one, hope the best for both.

Just hope Cam is and stays healthy, and tears up the league again. This can be an interesting season
