That's going to be a great colour combination on a Targa. I had the loan of a Boxster S demonstrator while my car was undergoing warranty work. It was GT silver with red top and looked great - so good I took 39 photos of it before I handed it back. Here's two of them.
Curious as to what is the thinking behind deleting model designation? Personally, the designation provides an extra dimension to the rear of the car. Without it, the rear looks bare.
Also, have you considered leather visors. The standard ones are cheap looking and since they will show prominently when the top is down it may be worth the additional $575. Not sure if you can designate the color but red would be nice against the black dash.
I wanted only PORSCHE lettering on the back, because it also says Targa on the side bar. I found the 991 lettering with PORSCHE and the model underneath messy.
