We brought the 911 up to our lake cottage / Watkins Glen IMSA. PCA does a nice job with the Porsche Platz and car corral. Hopefully the weather holds for the race today.

 

 

Little Sunday drive

 

Just returned yesterday from a nine-day trip with fellow Schonesland Region PCA (Des Moines, IA area) friends driving to South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana and then returning back to Des Moines via Nebraska. Covered the Badlands, Black Hills National Forest including Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, Bighorn National Forest, Bear Tooth Pass and Chief Joseph Scenic Byway. We had nine cars and a total of thirteen attendees. I put the trip together, mapping the roads using Ride with GPS Navigation App and booked the rooms and restaurants for lunches and dinners in advance.

 

Where is the location of that beautiful winding road?

 

Beartooth Pass in Montana.

 

That makes more sense. Somehow, I thought it was IA or SD, and I didn't think either had terrain like that.
