Some very wise older P-car jockey once told me that if it flys, floats or f’s, rent it! Can’t imagine what it cost to maintain the thing, much less fill,it up for a run on the lake. :-)

The rule of thumb for boats is usually 10% of the boat's price per year as operating expenses. This includes insurance, marina fees, repairs, maintenance, cleaning, fuel, etc. We're typically under that percentage. It carries 700 gallons of diesel and burns around 35 per hour when running on plane ~25 knots. For day trips around the Chesapeake it's not terribly expensive. The tedious part is waiting for dock pumps to put that much into the tanks.

Default 2000 mile road trip!
Just returned from a 2000 mile road trip from California to Arizona and Utah. Hit some rough dirt roads when GPS decided to take a shortcut!

Completely stock. Only change is Forgeline FU3C wheels in OEM size (20”) instead of the black GTS wheels (which I still have in my garage LOL).

Car is so much fun to drive!
