First drive of the driving season in Iowa - Schonesland Porsche Club "MadWarren" (through Madison and Warren Counties south of Des Moines) drive. 32 cars in three groups to keep everything organized!
Nice, I haven’t driven any of the backroads on the Eastside. A few years ago I went down yo an S2k CR meet in Seattle with my friend. The guys took us driving and all I know is that we ended up on the other side of the Puget Sound and we ended up taking the ferry back. We had a blast though.

I was invited to tag along with the local Corvette Club on a ride from Wickenberg Az to Baghdad Az and back. A 4 hour round tip of spirited back road twist and turns! The ride up was more of a parade than a fun run, but my good friend in the yellow C8 and I came back on our own and both of us enjoyed the adrenaline rush coming home!
I'm not about to run out and buy a C8, but damn it, every time I see one I like the design better. They did a nice job. Probably would get one in a less garish color though.
Took the car out of storage today to do a full and deep spring cleaning and to stretch her legs a bit. Interior is so clean I feel like I should just sell it in this current market haha (not going to happen, love this car too much). Some gorgeous trees in bloom right by my driveway... didn’t have to go far for the shot 😀
