Default Best Cupholder option yet!

I feel like a genius... Coffee is a must when I am driving around and I use my cupholder to hold my cigar ashtray/holder.... So my one complaint about this car is the lack of a place to keep my coffee - a REAL cup of coffee and not the european size...

I have the 18 way sport seats that have extendable fronts(likely there is a more technical term) to support longer legs. When I extend this, there is just enough friction to wedge a coffee cup in there to hold it pretty good. The bottom touched the floor but it works perfect for me.

Coffee in a 911 is a struggle, which is why I gave up on the idea of my morning coffee in the car years ago. I still do it from time to time, but our cupholders are a joke.

Good idea, but I'd be careful if I were you. There's always a chance of the cup popping out and rolling under the pedals, which would be a horrible thing.

My recommendation is that you check out the other side of the seat. There's enough room to snugly fit a cup or thermos between the seat and the body of the car (just behind the seat controls). I put my water bottle there whenever I'm pushing the car.

I'd pop for a $25 Ultimate Cup Holder. Puts the coffee in the same spot, but much more secure.

My commute is short (10-15mins) but I also struggled with the cupholder situation... Porsche makes a great car but the 911 cupholders are pretty weak. Briefly considered getting the Ultimate Cupholder but I wasn't sold on it. Ended up getting one of these and it has changed my life... not really but it is seriously kickass. Contigo West Loop 2.0 20oz model, it is 100% tight so I just fill it up and put it in my laptop bag before heading into the office.

No leaks, no mess, no issues...

This is what I use as well. For water bottles. No other food or beverage is allowed in my Porsche.

Yes I am very OCD.

+1 for these, they're big enough for many common sizes, solidly constructed, and easy in and out with no remnants left behind.

Who takes liquids in a 911? I once had terrible experience with my new BMW, I've quit drinking coffee/tea in my car
