Default iPhone Holder Console Mount

Hi guys,

There was an iPhone mount in one of the threads awhile back. It showed mounting a cell phone (iPhone) in a 911. The mount clipped on the right hand (passenger side) of the console.

I can't find it. Can anyone help me out here.

Thanks
Arlan

You may be thinking of a Kuda mount.

Thanks, but no that's not the one.

Nice holder but I want to be able to see my phone for Waze. And just because I want to be able to see it. I have the new PCM with Apple Play and that other BS but phone needs to be visible for me to be . Not an easy task.

Perhaps some other kind sole will help me out.

Or I can keep searching and will find it eventually. I thought it was under the thread. "where do you put your phone" but sure didn't see it there.

The thread is "where do we put the phone" started by ynot3d. It was recently added to and is on the RL landing page.

T-Design makes a superb iPhone mount for the 981/991 Porsche.

I have been using mine for over two years now with zero problems.
I use it for WAZE in the foreground and stream my Music in the background.
The guy is an engineer and the mount is a simple slip mount that inserts in the seams of your car. Works 100%, simple ingenious. I leave it installed during track days without the phone installed and it has never come loose.
would put one in my 991.2 in route except it has Apple CarPlay!-Richard

I ordered this one. So nice and clean, and I have no use for the smokers package or a tiny little bin.

Hope it's as good as I think it is!

I think it is. I have no use for waze as there's not enough users in my area. Besides, I'm running ALP jammers and a Max 360. It keeps my phone charged and I'm now getting great reception in areas that before were dead.

No more hunting for the phone after a hard corner

One thing I've learned is that their cable is fine for charging but is not reliable for music playback (tried two and they both had the issue). So if you plan to play a lot of music over the cable, as I do, opt for the one that lets you use your own Lightning-USB cable.

I think I like the T-Design mount best....higher up, closer to eye level, no need to look down.

Can't have enough of these phone holder threads!

Does anyone know whether Kuda is out of business? Their website is not accessible and I've had no response from email or telephone messages. Too bad if they're gone. They had a very unique product offering.

Default Iphone mount

I just installed the Proclip mount in a manual. I think the Kuda product looks good too but I couldn't tell if it would get in the way of shifting. I think it looks fine for a PDK. The Proclip has a small plate (it's an option that you have to purchase in addition to the mount and phone holder for about $10) that extends the mount out to the right a few cm so shifting is not impeded. The holder does take away from the clean look of the console itself though.
