Default Stone / Pebble in Brake shield PCCB's

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Holiday Weekend--

My Sunday started a bit off track---Leaving my neighborhood that has a few pebbles in the road---thank you Laguna Beach dept of public works for using loose gravel to "fix" the road..Then I heard the noise that sounded much like my rear wheel bearings had suddenly failed----SCREEECHHHH---GRRRRINND---"
I stopped ASAP and took a coat hanger and felt around for the culprit--tiny pebble---and nudged it out. I will typically try backing up quickly and that typically does the trick---

I have only experienced these occurrence with my 911 with PCCB's---Is there a fix---I hate the idea of ruining 10K in rotors due to a pebble

Cheers

This happened to my 991 C2S with standard brakes driving up the coast highway last December. Red rock used for slick spots. The awful noise, stopped - backed up a few feet - drove off and all was fine.
