Default 997 Center Locking Nut on 991, direct replacement?

Based on this pic it's obviously possible to interchange them but is it safe? Are they the same part?

Parts are not the same and shouldn't be interchanged. The center lock system on the 991's is basically the 2nd gen.

my understanding is that the parts (and system) are the same on the 997.2 (GT3) and the 991 GTS. I do not know about the compatibility of the 997 GTS
CL system.
