991.2 - BLUE MIAMI considerations
I’m going to buy my first new 911 and I like the MIAMI BLUE, but:
I found on web many pictures each with different tones.
Probably this is due to the fact that the blue is added with the green and the light could change the view (see the below pictures).
My question is:
It is possible that the light change so much the colour or this different is due only to the camera effect ? Whitch is the really colour perceptible to my eyes ?

I specify that:
This is the same colour, on two differents cars, photographed in two different situations, with two differents camera.
No photoshop edited
Does anybody has seen really a car like this (Miami colour) and could say which is the real colour ?

I have seen one.... I was surprised at how 'teal' the colour was, rather than the vivid blue it seems in photos.
I liked it. Still went for the pastel orange though. I would love to see more Porsches in bright/pop colours.

The best thing to do is to go see one in person. It is a color that requires a serious commitment and for that you need to judge with your own eyes.
By the way, the topic has been discussed in several threads in the forum already. You want to check those out as well.

its all to do with color temperature and camera (& eye) sensitivity

Here are the pics with basic color correction. They come out too bright without further work but you get the basic idea.
For the lower picture the lower side of the car is what you should look at because those ceiling lights are colored.

I have a C4S coupe in Miami Blue on order and have seen the color in the flesh. I'm colorblind (red-green) so I took my wife to see the color. I was thinking GT Silver or possibley MB if it wasn't a, uh...girl color. She said it was manly, but loved the color to the point that she insisted I buy the car in MB (maybe it is a girl color). If it's a little teal, I wouldn't see that. To me it's not a brighter blue, like Mexico or Riviera, but has a grey cast that tones it down. I'm doing mine with black interior and black exterior trim (headlights, glass sunroof, "PORSCHE 911" on back). I'll also install black exhaust tips and hood crest when I get it. So it will be a black and blue P-car. I may name it, "Boxer".

Just go to your nearest Porsche dealer and ask to look at a color sample. They will have a wall with all of their available colors for both exterior/interior available.
