Anyone know if the dealer can see that a Cobb tune has been flashed then removed back to stock when they connect to the diagnostic CPU?

if you uninstall the Cobb AP f/w I believe it is undetectable

+1 AWE, DSC, AP, Forgelines ...

I like it a lot, its my default map now! - although it was tuned for 93 I can detect no downsides with using it with (ca) 91, its an incremental improvement
over the Cobb OTS map.

Definite improvements across the entire range with noticeable smooth power
delivery, and extra torque and power.

nice work - probably the two best performance mods for price and impact, TPC DSC & AP+TPC tune.

That's great to know. I was thinking about the upgrade and your endorsement is certainly welcomed.

Thanks Larry. Much appreciated. I already have AWE exhaust and planning sport headers and cats + an ECU tune. Any idea which sport headers and 200cell cats will fit best with the AWE Xpipe? I don't track my car so I'm looking for low and mid rpm torque and power.

Gosh - I dont I'm afraid - worth pointing out though that the AWE 'mates' with
the OEM system, so mechanically, any aftermarket cat system will attach
to the AWE regardless...

Also, if you are going this route, then you will want to do a Protune of your car
*after* you have these installed - both TPC and Fabspeed are Protune dealers
of Cobb can do this for you... you might want to talk with John Gaydos @ Fabspeed about their headers etc ...

Thanks Larry. I am trying to find the right guys / tuners here in Europe. It's a mid term project so will hopefully update you by end of this year.

Very cool. Any chance you've tested the gains with Fabspeed Sport or Similar headers?
