So the seller who sold you the car kept all those things and sold them back to you for $200

The seller couldn't find the manuals. I bought what I have now from someone else. He has more manuals on eBay. I paid for something else up front and two months later he found it for me and sent it my way. A great seller.

All manuals are also available to download in pdf, for a fee, from https://techinfo2.porsche.com/PAGInf...?Type=GVOStart. The site also requires registration.

Absolutely ridiculous that you have to pay for something that should be coming with the price of the car! But this may not be limited to just Porsche. When I bought my used Merc, it came with an owners' manual, just the wrong one!

When I purchased my used C2S Cab from a Porsche dealer last fall it was delivered with only one key and no manuals. They ordered a new key and paid for the programing and eventually replaced the manuals. I was a bit of a hassle but eventually got sorted out.

I too question the dealer as to why they could not keep track of the keys and manuals. No acceptable answer other than poor management.

Ditto. I finally got the complete CPO sheet last week marked "yes" for two keys and the manuals. As noted when I started the thread - one key and the manuals just disappeared. To Sonnen's credit the check box for new windshield wiper blades wasn't checked (I had to buy new refills before I saw this) and their parts guy is sending up a new pair for when I next need to replace them. Sonnen has been very good to work with on a remote purchase. Thanks Brett!

If I had known they could have fetched about $200, I would have done the same!

Just like the forum member that only got one key. How hard is it to keep the keys and books with these cars.

Come on Porsche dealers step up to the plate .... it isn't that hard.

That was me! Fought with them 2 months!!! Finally just gave up and settled on splitting the coast of the key and programing. It was an exhausting effort. And the dealership service has been great otherwise.

So where does he get them? Could be that people around dealerships (Porsche and others) have some incentive for manuals to go missing?

Try eBay?

My ‘17 CPO was sans manual when I bought it last June. Dealer kept promising me it was ‘on the way’ for months. They did eventually send it to me, but from the condition I was pretty sure they’d just sourced one online and sent it to me. Still, I did get one.

While I like online pdf’s for searching, sometimes it’s quicker for me to leaf through a hard copy.

I did Euro delivery last summer on our 19 Macan S. The manuals in the car were the 2018 manuals. I called the Euro delivery folks in Stuttgart who told me that PCNA supplies the manuals for the US Spec cars. They made contact with Atlanta and a few weeks later they sent me the 2019s. There was a printing delay.

Bottom line: add it to your checklist for new or CPO delivery.
