I think you should go w black lettering on the back to complement the R grille. Looks slightly off imo.

Would anyone happen to know the part number for a GTS grill? The only place I found it from is suncoast, but I'm in Europe so hoping to find one somewhere here. So far no luck with keywords but maybe the part number will help. I don't want to go to the dealership because they are the priciest here, I wanna see if I can find it from Germany.

Thought about doing the same but by got the Suncoast price for the R grille is just blasphemy! I think around $2.5k almost! Can't do that even on a good day for just that aesthetic wise...but agree you should either go with black letters or maybe body colored or do a rear letter delete as the silver OEM takes away from that gorgeous 911R engine cover man!

Did anyone ever pull a part number from the GTS Black grill? Can you if you have one?

I am determined to find a lower price source then the current 1695 from Suncoast...

TIA!

I agree, Chris. Suncoast price is totally ridiculous. I'm also committed in finding a lower price. Visited the local Porsche parts department earlier today. For some reasons, the guy could not locate the part. He later stated that it would be helpful if I could provide the part number...really, I mean really dude, don't you work in the PARTS department....hmmmm. Recommend we combine search efforts. If I happen to come across the part number or find a lower price from another vendor, will let you know ASAP.

Yeah we need the part #. What's odd is that all of the online parts look up features show the louvers, even with the car model set to 15/16 GTS or 50th anniversary models.

I found a PET from 2016 which appears to show it as 991 512 331 09 OK1 Black mat

EDIT: I am pretty sure this is it 991-512-331-10-OK1. Initial search shows Porsche is reaming us for this part.

- 09 above is the bracket

I've inquiries into 2 dealers and a European supplier

I like the body colored 3-slat personally but I didn’t grow up idolizing old 911s with black slatted grills, I had Viper, F50 and 360 posters on my wall when I was in highschool.

Once you’ve got the part number, Give Zims Autotechnik a try. They were my go to for 968 parts, blew dealer prices away 99% of the time. Good luck!

Team, according to the internet parts manager at getporscheparts.com, tracking part number as 991-512-331-11-OK1. Their price, $1722.44; totally insane. Likewise, went to thier website but the photo doesn't match the item description (photo of the rear grill off a 991.1). However, googled part number and it seems legit. Will continue to investigate.

Edit: appears some sites have the part number as a "bracket." Chris' part number is probably more solid...lol.
