Does anyone have pictures of the bottom? And does anyone know if the grill is 1 piece or two? He needs detailed pictures. What makes it more complex is the smoothness of the grills. That means there’s finishing involved. Plus if each grill is a different size it costs more. We need measurements for sure.
So...I no longer have a .1 (but I’m not ruling out getting another one at some point) but I have pics from when I sold my “50th grille” so I’ve attached them here. The only difference between the 50th & GTS grille is that the silver portion is painted black. Hope this helps.

Thank you, that does help. It looks like it’s two pieces but I’m no expert. I’ll show these to the experts and see what they say.

Here are some diagrams and images I found for the 911R rear deck lid, which is also a two-piece assembly. (Well, three if you count the mesh.) To my knowledge, all the 991 deck lids have what looks like an injection molded piece with integrated nuts and ducting with the "grille" part attached. The good news is that whatever one would design, I believe the fitment on all 991.1s would be the same. The only difference I've ever seen is that some special parts, like the 911R deck lid, have slightly longer mating bolts that sometimes have to be cut down to fit vertically. Otherwise everything should be the same.

I have a standard (non-chrome) GTS grille on my 991.1. Since I still have my standard grille and could potentially just throw it back on for a spell, I might be willing to allow my grille to be used for the mapping/molding, depending on the details.

Feel free to PM me and we can discuss further.

Looks nice, but it's carbon fiber rather than the two-tone Porsche matt black with gloss black accents... so it will look different than the GTS grille.

Yea I was thinking same. I don't want CF. The gloss black strips I could live without but would be a nice to have. Seems like vaporware or a project that never was completed.

@getPorscheparts says they are going to be running Black Friday sale... lets see what the OEM costs.

Just was browsing and saw this company in Germany who says they can make a 911R grille from cf for $1800: https://carbon-designz.com/porsche-9...ake-cover.html
