I like it.

I wish Porsche would put out a GT3 (aero, no back seat, high revving NA engine, etc.) but allow the luxury of the Turbo (specifically, the Bose and Burmeister options). Would be my perfect car.

Beautiful - love that opening right under the hood on the GT3 bumper. Those wheels look great too.

What is the deal w Porsche? Why the secret love for killing the MT.

Their customers have spoken...

We want a MT "R", quickly sold out of the MT rennsport GTS w MT, etc

Yet they are happier living their narrative, ignoring facts along the way. Like Obama is running the company.

Don't know what your sales guy said (or was told to say), sorry. The MT is sublime.

More than 80% of their USA customers want automatics. Even higher % in Europe. There's a waiting list for GT cars, and an organ exchange list for GT RS cars.

Did you add parking sensors also? I think it would be a difficult modification to the bumper.

Manual transmission was the first thing I thought about also. I know a large percentage of cars are automatics but could some of them be because dealers order more automatics for stock? When a customer comes in, if there are only automatics he may just buy it because that is what is available. I wonder what percentage of ordered cars are manuals. They don't seem to have any trouble selling GT4's which are all manual.

OMG, I instantly felt in love with your project! Very well executed!

Did you consider reversing the shifter pattern as well? From UP+/DOWN- to UP-/DOWN+?

Nicely done! I hope you keep it for a long time, if not forever.

Doing the math in my head, all these parts are in excess of $40-50K. I've never seen any major discounts on parts.

No need new airbag. You can reuse your stock one.

Not if you switch to an RS or 991.2 wheel, as shown in the pics the airbag is different.

Does the new steering wheel come with the airbag front cover? One of my friend replaced his with Macan streering wheel and it fits with stock airbag but those buttons on the wheel will not work.
