Ordered a Blendmount and mirror tap for my V1 detector
Waiting for Valentine to open so I can order their new gen 2 V1.
@thesaintusa Do you know if the detector exterior design has changed? Will the current V1 Blendmount work with the new one? I hope to upgrade at some point my V1.
The exterior dimensions are similar, but the whole detector is slightly longer.
Front **** is gone, replaced with a button on front and two dials on the top left front side for volume.
Waiting to order. Will be replacing 2 V1 that have been updated over the last decade.
The reviews seem VERY favorable, and it seems that the same Blendmount will work as the 'part number' seems to be the same for either a gen 1 or gen 2.
I will likely just sell my gen 1 on the open market rather than 'upgrade' as the discount is only $120 or so, and I am sure I could get more than that selling my up to date Gen 1.
Washed the beast, it also got a brand new windshield from the Porsche dealer on Wednesday. Ignore the ****ty pic forgot to snap outside after the detail. Hopefully snap some pics after a drive tomorrow.

Quite a few issues with the first batch of V1 gen 2.
Yup!! I gave up with the install. I’m taking it to a body shop next week. I was told it’s bolt on to the Carrera S. It’s not bolt on LOL.
Yup... Seems like I saw a thread somewhere a while back about fitment issues. Seems like you'll need a filler to close the gap? Still looks great when done though!
