Apologies for the late reply. I missed your post. I have a C2 - as you know, your system requires less work. You're on the right track; with regard to asking the dealers to compete . They will.

My wife installed ours. Took 10 minutes for the first one and then less than 5 minutes for the second one. No wind noise at triple digit speeds.

Had detail/paint correction completed by Robert at Auto Concierge with Suntek PPF installed by Evan at Pacific Auto Films. Car came out spectacular in my opinion. Robert is a master at his craft and really went above and beyond on my car. The PPF is a custom install on the hood, front bumper and fenders, mirrors, rockers and rear fender arches. While I'm certainly no expert, I have seen a fare share of PPF intalls with exposed seams etc. and I was hesitant at first to go this route, but I figured if I was going to invest in having the extensive paint correction I should a least protect the front end. The film came out great. Here are a few pics:
