Here we go again. If only a way faster turbocharged 991.1 had been available when we bought our much slower NA ones... insert rolleyes emoji here.

Why does it always have to be who’s better?
mine vs yours, yours is better than mine?
cant they all live together?
one finds something more important than other, while the other thinks the opposite.
People go to war, we just have to say thanks for having a chance to live our dreams and argue NA vs TT, fast vs slow, vacuum vs heavenly sound.
Just get what you like and enjoy it.

Maybe you should read your own previous post

Nobody is saying one is better than another. Spend your $$ as you like.

It's all good

Im not trying to push an argument, I picked what I preferred and after reading his post on the other side I had noted that it was the same experience I had. Some things can only be argued after experimenting both options. I had the same dilemma on bikes. Duc vs Yami. Pure Italian sound and look vs quick and I picked my preferences.

Its so sensitive here with that NA vs TT, they are both great cars and I’d be happy either way.

Btw STG,
i was following your great thread in Hot for sale 991.1 for a long time. Looking for that perfect car with the right options. Came very close a few times but never crossed all my checkpoints so had to build my own, which was a dream for a long, long time.

What did R-rated do to get kicked out?

Hehe you walked that back quicker than people we can only talk about on the P&C thread.

But yes of course there are good reasons to like both, same with manual vs. PDK... I just wish both options were still available so the buyer could decide which to go with.

Glad you found HFS helpful, and congrats on the custom build.

R_Rated will be back this week I think. A temporary ban I understand. Not sure the whole story. Usual RL drama.

I already told you guys it was it was the covert coffee creamers consortium. He talked to much about drinking black coffee.

really wanted to keep the Duc, gave it a full season. Got an 1199 R, spent so much $ on getting it ready to race but couldn’t get to the top of the pile with it. Not a single podium in a whole season with it.
Switched to a Yamaha R1M and won 3 out of the first 5 races. Was going to keep the Duc for the street but it was too much $$$ for a 3 hour ride once a month and took a rebuild project on a 1971 Honda CB750, I rebuilt it from scratch as a cafe racer.
Still have a special place for the Duc, it’s sound, looks and prestige. But it was such a hard bike to handle on the technical tracks. Ducati’s are special bikes, I hope they can win the MGP this year .
I’m sorry for the off topic, enjoy you rides, which ever they are 🤙

Now to bring it back to topic, just finished installing new FabSpeed headers and sport cats.
Found this amazing place in Miami “Garage it Yourself”. $25H reg rate or $20 military rate.
You get a lift and all the tools you would need. Great owner, very pro, friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend.
Ill write up a review on the FabSpeeds (love the new sound and it does feel quicker).

Man, sweet bike racing pics--I've always wondered how the Duc would do at club level racing... I have a '12 Daytona 675R that I hardly ride at the track anymore, but have thought about switching over to the new Duc Panigale V4; but then again, it'd just be for bragging rights, as I probably wouldn't want to push it and crash (and I don't ride on the streets anymore, other than my Honda Grom).

Nice exhaust setup for the Porsche--be sure to let us know how it is!

The 996 is measurably better in every parameter than the 993. Some people prefer absolute performance and some prefer something more intangible. There is no right or wrong, there are only people who love the 911 and people who own 991.2s.

Gets banned for constantly badmouthing 991.2's and talking about how they sound like vacuum cleaner and how the 991.1 is SOOOOooooo much better, then buys a 991.2.

The 991.2 purchase might be "fake news"

For being an incessant troll. For setting up a trolling group (sticker) buy. And then trolling some more.
