Oddly, I tried it and seeing it in my peripheral vision gave me motion sickness! And I never get motion sickness! So, after I tried it, I took the tape off the center mark on the steering wheel.

Same here. I tried out a Mod 7 with the yellow strip on an older 911, the constant movement drove me nuts. Had to put the old wheel back on after a couple of weeks.

Funny, I had it on my Cayman GTS and it was never an issue. Actually it was more for a little flash of color in an otherwise dark cabin.

I'm not a hater, I've used marking tape on track and it's helpful, especially autocrossing. I just don't like it on the street.

I put the "haha" for the sarcastic tone. Some people take everything so personally on here - I'm not one. I added it before some mountain drives at Treffen and love it on technical drives. It's not my daily driver so I leave it on.

New car cover. It's worth the Porsche tax... a lot nicer than what I was using.

It's cool, no offense taken. That's why I added the too. I'll add it again just to make double sure.

I bought six replacements for these and installed them.

And I installed new rotors at all the corners as well.

Great looking garage. Which scissor lift do you have (manfacturer and model) and how do you like it? I am looking for one that can fit both 991 and Cayenne.

It’s a BendPak Midrise Lift. I’ve had it for over a decade. Absolutely love it. We park over it every day. It’s low enough that even my lowered 993 can easily park over it. The hydraulic pump and control sits under my workbench. 110ac power. 6000lb. I do a lot of track events so frequently change wheels and do brake work, etc. But I’ve fully restored cars and done engine overhauls on it as well. Plus you can slide it around and reposition it if the need requires. I would never be without one.

Best thing is that it was FREE! Years ago I was at a Jaguar Club meeting when one (very wealthy) member asked if anyone wanted his newly purchased lift because he changed his mind and ordered a couple two post lifts to service his collection. I raised my hand first!

I've had the car for a month now, and it's sadly stored for the winter as of last week.

BUT, to keep winter interesting, I'm starting to order some goodies. Today: LED side markers, license plate frame, K&N filters and a short shifter kit.

Now I'm trying to convince myself to leave it at that, but I doubt I'll be able to.

Just over 20k, but right at 4 years. No, really don’t feel any difference.
