Paul007 and vivalaReagan, the pricing is dependent on too many variables to list publicly without creating some confusion. We'll be posting up a thread soon that will have open pricing with detailed descriptions. In the mean time, if you want to get a quote for a kit feel free to PM or email me at nick.akin@musicarnw.com

Patrick, there's an installer in Boston that does exactly this type of ultra-custom install. Like Nick, they're crazy **** about precision OEM-like configs. PM if you're interested, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't find these sort of craftsmen in the NY/NJ/CT area.

I've done this sort of install in Boston and it's not cheap. Expect to pay in the $2500 - $3500 range for the install alone (excluding parts). You get what you pay for.

You must be referring to our good friend Jeremy over at JK... Excellent choice if you're in the area.

Someone on another laser/radar thread here mentioned AI Design. They are based about 15 miles North of NYC in the Eastchester area (really close for me).

Their FB site showcases some really nice work, has anyone used them?

There is in San Diego. They are called Absolute Perfection and they are also Rolls Royce factory choice of vender. Whenever Rolls Royce of North America needs a wrap, paint or someone for shows like Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance they use AP auto. The owner is a real nice guy too and extremely ****. I had my windows tinted and he had the tint redone (on his own accord) because there was one little crease in the tint.

Looks they're a tint and detail shop that occasionally does electronics. I'd be curious to see their work in that category before I recommended them.

[QUOTE=STG991;13020479]Nick sent me pics of my ALP which is on the way. Nice custom smokers package controller!

2 Questions:

1) Did you supply your existing smokers package unit or was a new one sourced and then the ALP controller custom installed?

2) With an integrated radar working with the ALP, like Bel STiR or Escort 9500, do you need a second controller for that? If so, where is that installed?

Thanks
Paul

1. They will modify your existing one or a new one. Sunset Porsche Parts is in their backyard, so I bought one and had it delivered there to expedite the process. Was just under $200 for the tray from Sunset.

2. The ALP only controls that system. You do need a separate one for the Bel or Escort. No big deal. I've seen them squeeze both into the smokers tray or other creative options.
