Default My First Porsche: 2015 911 4S

Hi all, I recently joined Rennlist after buying my first Porsche few months back, on Black Friday to be precise. I was too busy driving around like a kid, logged close to 1000 miles, can't get enough of it. This is also my first true sports car (If SLK is not counted as one). I've been lurking around Rennlist for some time and huge thanks to all of you for sharing all your experiences. I wish I had your inputs before buying this one and if I did, It would have been a GTS.

Here's the build sheet:
991420 911 Carrera 4S
N1 Sapphire Blue Metallic
AG Standard Interior in Black
030 PASM Sport Suspension
176 Sport Exhaust System
250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
427 20" Carrera Classic Wheels
446 Wheel Center Caps with Colored Porsche Crest
529 SportDesign Side Mirrors
541 Seat Ventilation (Front)
603 Bi-Xenon™ Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System
640 Sport Chrono Package
653 Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass
840 SportDesign Steering Wheel
P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way) with Memory Package
P3D Premium Package i.c.w. Power Sport Seats (14-way)
P3H BOSE® Audio Package
ZAB Ornamental Porsche Crest

I picked this one up at Porsche of Fairfield in CT. I can't believe how amazing and addictive the drive is! I just exploit every excuse to fire this baby up, drop/pickup kids from school, groceries, Saturday early morning drive before kids wake up! 100% of my driving is in Sports Mode. Needless to say the Summer tires are not that great right now. I feel my fronts getting dragged sideways at extreme turns coming out of parking. I hope thats normal. I'm using this as a daily driver now, rain or shine

Sweet ride. Very optimal performance options for maximum enjoyment.

Watch those summer tires. Can get dangerous in cold temps. I'm shocked you've made it this far in the northeast winter.

Thanks! I ordered winter tires in Dec 1st week from dealer but the temperatures were 50+ most of the time. I took it easy assuming the winter's going to be short this year. Most of the drives was in wet or dry conditions, Didn't drive in snow though! This was supposed to be a weekend car

Thanks @Harsany, @TrappistMonk, @Dbull65

You might want to rethink just doing tires when you can get an entire set of 19" with snows for the same price from tirerack. Then you can pop on and pop off as the weather dictates.

Great looking car BTW...... enjoy.

Gorgeous car. Congrats and enjoy it! These cars are too much fun to drive to be relegated to weekends alone!

Congratulations. That is a beautiful car. The 20" Carrera Classic Wheels and Sapphire Blue Metallic are a great combination.

Beautiful! Reminds me of my (Aqua Blue) S with spasm! I want to get that sport design steering wheel at some point.

Sapphire Blue ftw!

I will however say that your pictures are adding a ton of purple tones that is not really present in the flesh... still looks nice. And congrats!
